As one of the Dunn Institute's signature programs, the Learning Differences Awareness Conference brings together parents, teachers, administrators and national experts in the field of learning differences to discuss the ways in which children learn and the support systems available to assist them. The conference is rapidly growing and drawing the attention of educators from throughout the region - the 2006 conference drew almost 400 parents, teachers and education professionals.
This year's keynote speaker is noted psychologist and author, Dr. Robert Brooks. The conference will be held on March 3rd, 2007, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Providence Marriott. More information and registration materials will be available soon.
