For Parents

The Hasbro Center for Teaching Excellence at The Dunn Institute has developed various programming for parents with several goals in mind:

To allow parents across the region access to information, resources and local experts who can effectively address a variety of topics surrounding learning differences.
To provide teachers and parents an opportunity to come together around certain topics, increasing the dialogue and potential collaboration between the adults primarily responsible for the support and progress of students.
To empower parents, both at the family level as advocates for their children and at the community level as advocates for education that is responsive and affirming for children with all kinds of minds.
