The Bradford L. Dunn Institute was founded in 1999 in Providence, Rhode Island, as part of The Hamilton School at Wheeler's outreach efforts.
The Dunn Institute is a non-profit organization that provides programs and services that address the needs of those living or working with learning differences. Our mission is to help all children with learning differences be successful in school and in life by providing training for teachers, programs for students, and resources for families and the community.
In six years, the Dunn Institute has become the state leader in provisional special services for those with learning differences - educating and developing a corps of teachers with expertise in this area and providing direct support to students in need of supplemental services.
In addition to our programs for students, teachers and parents, the Institute also has unique partnerships with several area schools.
The Institute continues to make the news - redefining the way that people think about learning differences. To see some of our recent news articles, as well as a video about the Institute, please click here.
